Mclaren Vale is 39 KM. south of Adelaide and is one of the best wine growing regions.

It was one of the first areas to be used for vineyards in South Australia.  There are approx 50 wineries in the district. Vines were first planted here in 1838 by the British Settlers. Then since 1940 Italian migrants have arrived and by 1980 the area was known for it’s fame in wine making.
